• Unit 202: In this part of your training for your electrical qualifications, you will be asked to use your skills in math and physics. It includes sections on resistance, relativity, and Ohms law.
• Unit 203: To get your certificate, you will be required to pass separate exams for health and safety and electrical principles. You will learn how technical information should be used, how to stay safe on the job, a.c. theory, polyphase systems, and electrical machines. This unit also covers short circuits, earthing, and motors.
• Unit 204: You will need to successfully complete a practical assessment at this stage. It is a requirement for your certificate, which is a key component for achieving your electrical qualifications.
• Unit 205: In the final portion of your course, you will be studying installation techniques, specifications, and regulations.
• Unit 206 is a practical project and your duties will depend on where you are training for your electrical qualifications.
The 2330 Course: Level 3
Level 3 of the 2330 Course is similar in content, but takes each topic and examines it in more depth. Health and safety and the science associated with getting your electrical qualifications are tested separately and you will need to achieve a passing grade on each portion to successfully complete the course.
• Unit 301: This portion of the course covers what to do in an emergency, how to comply with regulations, along with developing good work habits. It also examines electrical components, supply systems, and earthing.
• Unit 302: At this point in your training for your electrical qualifications, you will need to complete a written examination on inspections and testing, along with a practical assessment.
• Unit 303: The final stage of the 2330 course deals with detecting and rectifying faults. Again, you will be asked to take a two-hour written exam and complete a practical assessment.
By obtaining electrical qualifications for 2330 levels 2 and 3 you will ensure that the hands-on knowledge gained during your internship is backed up by a solid understanding of the topics needed to be successful in this field.
